Fernandina Beach Christian Academy has a steadfast mission to assist families in educating their children to become influential Christian leaders who will impact the world for the Kingdom of God.
Our goal is to:
- Provide students with a dynamic and creative curriculum founded in academic excellence.
- Nurture each student’s God given gifts, talents, and abilities.
- Provide students with academic skills and enrichment opportunities that will form a Christian character that is strong, intelligent, creative and compassionate.
- Instill Biblical principles in the hearts and minds of students that they might impact our world for Christ.
Our Core Values
Our ministry is to educate our students to be the Christian leaders and achievers of the future.
God gives the primary responsibility of raising and training children to parents. As educators, we partner with our parents to provide a strong Christian education effectively integrated with rigorous, nurturing and rewarding academics and enrichment curricula. The school also offers a wide array of fun and engaging after school programs. FBCA strongly believes that students must have a head and a heart to serve Christ. Throughout the school year, students perform ministerial outreaches locally and globally. The Summer Camp Program has grown as an outreach not only to school families but also to non-school families in our community.
We provide students with a dynamic curriculum and environment that inspires academic excellence, leadership, and enterprise. Our teachers inspire the willingness to learn amongst our students. We educate “the whole child” by using innovation, collaboration, and creativity. Each child is unique and represents untapped potential. Our teachers work lovingly and passionately to maximize a positive and rewarding learning experience.
Biblical World View
We believe God has given the Holy Scriptures as His authoritative and infallible Word and that the Bible is the foundation for all truth. Therefore, we will aim to instill Biblical principles in the hearts and minds of students that they may view life based on a Biblical understanding and impact their world for Christ.
As educators, we are accountable to God, our families, and the high standards of conduct we expect from ourselves. We strive to be Christ-like in words, deeds and actions. We lead by example and are guided by the principles of our Christian faith.
We believe that our mission is to glorify God. He has given us the gift to educate children. It is a gift that we take very seriously. In doing so, our children will cultivate their intellects, talents and physical abilities to glorify our Creator. Our lives, as educators, parents and students are connected in service in His Name.
