Dr. Dallice L. Mitchell

Dr. Dallice L. Michell was employed as Dean of Students with Fernandina Beach Christian Academy aka home of the Knights. Her passion for changing the direction of student’s lives radiates throughout her personality and professionalism. She is married to Wesley Mitchell and together they have a blended family of three sons, two daughters, and 15 grands.

In 1998, Dr. Mitchell received her B.S. degree in Middle School education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah, GA. In 1999, she completed the course work for her M.S. in the Foundation of Education from Troy State University of Troy, AL. And in 2002, graduated from Truth Bible College/University with a Doctorate degree in Ministerial Counseling.

Dr. Mitchell began her teaching career as an elementary ELA and Social Studies teacher, and for 19 years, she has passionately taught grades 4 through 12 in both GA and FL. In 2017, she was provided an opportunity to become director of two alternative schools (Kingsland and Camden Ombudsman Centers) where she served the past 5.5 years. As director, Dr. Mitchell managed the operations of both centers ensuring the students received a quality education and the school environment was safe for all students and staff.

In January 2021, Dr. Mitchell was appointed as one of the city of Kingsland’s Planning and Zoning Commissioners and will serve until December 2022.

Her community knows her as one who inspires, motivates and ignites the dreams and desires of children and adults. Her motto is, we should impact the lives of those we encounter as Christ does with us, for we are the hands and feet of Christ Jesus.
