Fernandina Beach Christian Academy welcomes children into a dynamic learning environment raising up the Christian leaders and achievers of the future.
From the moment you walk on our campus, located on beautiful Amelia Island, you can feel the love that teachers have for each student. Teaching at Fernandina Beach Christian Academy (FBCA) is a calling that is student centered and founded in faith. Each child’s educational journey is strongly connected to highly qualified and dedicated teachers who collaborate with parents for spiritual growth and academic success. Our teaching/learning model is special.
- Class sizes are intentionally small, not exceeding 13 students to a classroom teacher.
- The majority of our teachers hold advanced degrees.
- Teachers embrace each child’s potential, recognizing the importance and value of parent expectations.
FBCA uses a fully integrated, project-based learning platform with strong emphasis on reading, writing, mathematics, science and history. A full enrichment program, ranging from STEAM (science, technology, engineering, and math), Gardening, Computer Literacy to the Arts, Music, and Bible Studies to Physical Fitness and Nutrition, create a well-rounded and high achieving student.
High Academic Standards are validated annually by the outstanding results of our students on the Terra Nova 3, a nationally recognized, norm-reformed benchmark test. Testing and assessment are important, but the ability of students to achieve and succeed are our higher goals.
The FBCA Knight is a student who is a joyful learner. The world is our classroom and mission field. Students, families and staff perform faithful ministry locally and globally. We prepare future Christian adults to have a head and heart for Christ in stewardship as they engage in lifelong opportunities to serve.
